Accounting, Certificate

This certificate is for those Business students desiring to establish a stronger foundation in the subject of Accounting without majoring in the discipline. 
Prospective students should be aware that the Accounting Certificate requires certain courses to be taken in sequence. ACCTU225 must be successfully completed before ACCTU226 and FINAU363 are taken, and ACCTU226 is a prerequisite for ACCTU331, ACCTU333, ACCTU335. If possible, and to provide the most flexibility, it is recommended that students complete ACCTU225 in their Fall Sophomore semester and ACCTU226 in the following semester. 
Prerequisites should be considered before enrolling in courses. It is highly recommended that students considering the Accounting Certificate refer to the catalog for course prerequisites and contact the College of Business for more information regarding course sequencing.
