Probationary Admission

Students may be admitted to the Professional Program on a probationary basis prior to completing all of the admission requirements as long as they can complete the admission requirements within a two-semester timeframe. The Professional Program Application form details the courses the student will take in the current semester, and the subsequent semester if necessary, to meet the admission requirements, as well as requested JCBE courses. The number of JCBE courses a student is permitted to take while in probationary admission is limited to the number of hours students not pursuing a business degree are permitted. Students who do not complete the admissions requirements in the two-semester timeframe may not enroll in additional upper division courses until all admissions requirements are met and a new Professional Program Application is submitted and approved.

Transfer Students and Probationary Approval

Transfer students who have met the 54-credit hour and GPA requirements at time of admission may be granted conditional admission for one semester in order to complete the specific course requirements.
