Any of the 100-level history courses may satisfy the general education requirement in your major. Consult your program of study.

With approval, students may apply relevant 400-level special topics courses, one-time-only courses, and independent studies to the minor. If HIST U491 is used to satisfy a regional requirement, the subject matter must match one region; comparative courses may not be used to satisfy a regional requirement.

One course may satisfy multiple requirements thereby increasing the elective courses. Consult with the History Department academic adviser, a history faculty mentor, or the HPPA department chair.

The topic should focus on women in one of the three regions.
